Canon Details	Stefen's from a world where magic horses sometimes choose psychic boys and girls and force them into politics. Stefen, however, is NOT a psychic boy— at least, not any more. He can use Bardic emotion-sharing and is really good at music, is the lifebonded of god's most pathetic wet cat of a war hero, and is definitely nothing else at all. (This is a lie, and I am going to be given Stefen memories back from his past life interspersed, so watch out for flying spoilers. They're really easy to get used if you want them, though, since they're 35 year old books.)

15 Second Summary	Stefen is a Master Bard despite his young age, and if playing or singing, it is not only gorgeous but includes the Bardic Gift—essentially a form of projective empathy; he can make you feel things or gain impulses due to his music. Born and raised on the streets, Stef has lived the last nine years of his life in the Bardic college on the Palace grounds, where he got a reputation for sleeping around with boys; this (and his incredibly strong talent) earned him the ire of his fellow students. His roommate Medren introduced Stef to his incredibly beautiful, tragic, and lonely Uncle Vanyel. Stef fell instantly in love.
Abilities & Permissions
Abilities	MAKES you feel things when he plays music, and also has the ability to block pain while playing music.
Permissions	Just tough base if it gets either too intimate or too violent so we can figure out what we're both comfy with.
Sensing	He has a magical bond between himself and Vanyel that IS visible to people who know how to look. This is his second life, and the person he was reincarnated from is still around somewhere in his soul.

Appearance: He has high cheekbones, deep hazel eyes, the "most stubborn chin Vanyel has ever seen", wavy dark auburn hair, and looks "like a demented angel."
Notable Traits: He probably has callused fingers from constant intense music playing. He has the voice of an angel when singing (Once he gets that skills back).

Other: Lifebonded to Vanyel? People who can sense superpowers and magics and stuff can pick up he has the Bardic Gift (along with a Wild Talent) inherent with him though both are currently blocked due to being unearned skills so they'd read as "in potential" rn.

* The final trip north. The army, fleeing to the guard station, Vanyel's death. 9 months later, The Ghost of Vanyel Past convinces Stefen not to suicide. (315-320, 322-323, 326-328, 329-333) [9]
* Epilogue: Stefen, age 80-something, dies in a forest and cavorts as a ghost. Why is he young again in Aather? Who cares? (334-336)
